Historical Markers
The beautiful historical markers placed on various buildings throughout Souderton’s historic district, are here to highlight a number of our most valuable buildings. These buildings are not only important for their age, but also for the people and stories they represent as Souderton grew from a farming hamlet to a bustling town. These buildings were judged to reflect the “core” of Souderton, and how it is remembered.
The historical markers were created and planned by the Historical Society; and made possible with generous donations from Souderton Connects, Univest Corp, and the Souderton-Telford Historical Society. We hope you enjoy them, and learn some of our past as you walk around town!
